What: Paint the Rainbow (Ages 5 and Up) at the Art Explorium

Time:  Sunday February 21, 2016 2:30-4PM

Price: $15

Young artists will be starting out by making abstract, resist rainbow paintings.  They will use tape to block out areas and paint blended or blocked rainbows over the top.  When they pull off the tape, magic!  They will also get to create spin art rainbows while learning about color mixing and theory in the process .  Finally, they will create a rainbow explosion!  Watch as a rainbow comes to life with an eruption of bubbles and color.  The colors will mix and swirl creating a beautiful artistic display.  Art teacher Stephanie Yanik is also an art teacher at Jefferson Elementary
