Healthy Mothers Health Babies Coalition of Hawaii is hosting a Mama Massage workshop and would like you to join us for an exhilarating massage session where you will learn essential techniques to relieve pregnancy pains.
Are you an expectant mom and are experiencing the swollen ankles, sore back, and hip pain? Come with your partner or birth coach to learn some comfort techniques! Guest speaker and childbirth educator, Mahina Yahiro-O’Neil, will be hosting special 45 minute event designed to help birthing partners utilize massage, stroking, pressure point, and relaxation exercises to comfort a pregnant mother through pregnancy and birth. Techniques included in this workshop require the supportive hands of the expectant father or birthing coach so please attend as a couple!

About the instructor
Mahina Yahiro-O’Neill has been a childbirth educator for 9 years and has three beautiful daughters. She served as a full time high school teacher at a private school until she and her friend started a business called Hanau LLC, centered around offering support services for prenatal, birth, and postpartum in 2014. Her interest in assisting expectant mothers stems from her positive birth experiences and hopes that others can feel confident, happy and satisfied with their birthing choices. “Every one of my births were different and having a good support team was crucial to not just feeling happy, but surviving the transitions into motherhood.”
*The instructor is not a licensed massage therapists. And all participants are asked to disclose any pre-existing medical condition so that instruction can be adjusted.
