The holidays in Hawaii, especially with kids, can be either wonderful and full of memories, or, can be quite underwhelming. Our first Christmas on Oahu was in 2011 and I had no clue as to what to do or what was happening on the island during the holidays. I wish I had known about all of the parades, places kids can play in the snow, where to see Santa paddling in on a canoe, and where to get a photo of Santa wearing slippas and an aloha shirt with shorts.
So, here’s a long list of family events and happenings on Oahu, December 2017 to create the Ultimate Guide to Christmas on Oahu, 2017. Whether you are celebrating Christmas 2017 on Oahu, Kwanza in Kailua, Hanukkah in Hawaii or simply trying to find something to do with kids during Christmas break, this is bound to have a few family fun happenings on the island for you guys to make it a memorable one!
I’ll continue to update the list as we uncover even more events, so check in regularly! If I missed something, use the comments and I’ll add it. Be a good friend and share! To help with the planning, here’s a family fun planner. To use it, Click Here to Download Your FREE Holiday Planner PDF, write down the events that interest you, hang it on your fridge.
