FREE First Wednesdays at Spalding House
Details: Spalding House is the Honolulu Museam of Arts second location (https://
honolulumuseum.org/ 11981-spalding_house). It features exhibits, a cafe, gardens, and a great little play area. And bonus, it is FREE on the first wednesday of the month!
Note, the gardens are not stroller friendly, so be prepared to baby wear if you have a little one.
Keiki Courtyard Cinema at Ward Village
What: Keiki Courtyard Cinema is a free monthly event that offers children’s films, fun, kid-friendly seating, food, and activities.

WHAT: FREE Pre-School Nature Tour at Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden
Date: Every third Tuesday of the month
Time: 10:30- 11:30AM
Details: Includes Storytelling, Crafts and a Nature Walk Activity.
Recommended: Walking shoes, rain gear, and insect repellant.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every 3rd Sunday of the Month
What: Family Sunday at Spalding House + Family Day at the Honolulu Museum of Art
Time: 11AM-5PM, Activities Stop at 3PM
Details: The day offers a program of art activities, entertainment and film focused on an exhibition or art principle. In conjunction with Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday, the museum also holds a free Family Day at its location in Makiki Heights, with entertainment and an art activity. A free shuttle bus will run between the Honolulu Museum of Art and Spalding House, so you can enjoy two different events in one day.
Bank of Hawaii Family Sundays feature entertainment and activities suitable for families and people of all ages. Explore the Honolulu Museum of Art’s galleries through art hunts, art activities, demonstrations, film screenings and entertainment. Themes change monthly and tie in with the Museum’s permanent collections and special exhibitions.
Mele at the Moana is Every Last Friday of the Month
Details: Mele at the Moana takes guests back to the days in the 1930s, when the sounds of Hawaiian music filled the airwaves across the globe during “Hawaii Calls,” a long-running live radio broadcast from the Banyan Courtyard that introduced the world to Hawaii through music. Join us in the Banyan Courtyard every last Friday of the month. Mele at the Moana will be featuring heralded performers such as Raiatea Helm, John Cruz, Natalie Ai Kamauu, and Maunalua. Music begins at 5 pm with the featured performers taking the stage at 7 pm, playing two, 45-minute sets through 9 pm.
