Ever wonder which annual memberships around the island are actually ‘worth it’ for your family?

I recently sat down to create a family fun budget and surveyed a popular Facebook mommy group to ask which annual memberships they think are actually worth purchasing. I was pleasantly surprised with the results.  The Honolulu Zoo received the most votes and the Waikiki Aquarium the least. It was a toss up between Discovery Center and Waimea Valley, but Waimea Valley is way cheaper than Discover Center to it won in terms of cost.

Here’s the breakdown:

1.  The Honolulu Zoo

2.  Wet ‘N Wild Water Park

3.  Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum Annual Membership

  • Price:  $85.00 for 2 Adults + up to 6 Children (under 18 years old)

  • Includes museum + planetarium + botanical garden admission costs

4.  Waimea Valley
